If you’re anything like me, taking “me” time isn’t always a concept I’m able to grasp….life can get busy, and the priority of indulging in life’s simple pleasures further down on the list of the million things I’ve got currently on my plate. The idea of taking just a few minutes to sit and indulge makes me nervous. Nails at the spa? No, house project. Date night? No, planning a wedding. There’s never enough time, and my list of priorities always seem to succeed the time in which I think I have to complete them.

So when I do get that beloved “me” time, it usually comes in doses I can tolerate, at times that are available for me, under a budget I know I can afford. A few of my “go-to” de-stressors usually include long walks on the beach, couch cuddles watching the newest Netflix original, chocolate chip cookies & a glass of rosé, playtime with my four-legged friends, or last but not least…taking a hot bath. That’s right…this totally cliche list (I’m not ashamed to admit it) is nothing too special…not very expensive…but to me is life’s simplest, most luxurious activities.

Let’s face it…we may not always have time to head to the spa, and we may not be able to afford that luxurious vacation to de-stress…but we do have 15 minutes to take a long, hot bubble bath. Still not convinced? Here are a few reasons you should plan some “me” time tonight and take a BodyRenew™ Bathing Pleasures Bubble Bath:

Improve Your Mood & Your Skin

Did you know? Studies have proven that taking a bath improves your mood! Attributed by comfort, warmth, and body positioning taking a bath has proven to make you feel happier and less stressed! Not to mention, taking a BodyRenew™ Bathing Pleasures Bubble Bath allows you to choose from 3 scents: Jasmine & Lavender, Peach & Vanilla, or Pineapple & Coconut depending on your mood or skin care concern.

     What’s Your Scent?

Sleep Better

It’s true that when you sleep better, you feel better…and if you’re struggling with a good night’s sleep…a hot bath will solve all of your problems.  According to a an article published on Bustle.com:

“A drop in body temperature at night is one of the classic signals for the body to start producing melatonin, the hormone that induces sleep. Our bodies get colder at night naturally: apparently, the temperature dip starts two hours before bed and lasts till about 4 a.m. Kick-starting that downward shift by heating yourself up artificially is an old trick to get yourself to feel sleepy. Get out of a bath, cool yourself down for a while, then slip into bed. Don’t massively overheat yourself, though, or you’ll find you’re actually revved up instead of chilled out.”

Go Easy On Your Wallet

Taking a bubble bath is probably one of the cheapest ways to give your body some relaxation. While I do wish I could take a trip each weekend to the spa, my bank account certainly wouldn’t agree. Be sure to take regular trips to the spa (trust me, it helps!) and spend the off weeks taking a BodyRenew™ Bubble Bath at home! BodyRenew™ Bathing Pleasures Bubble Bath retails separately for $18 or can be purchased as a bundle with matching Bath Salts & Body Moisturizer for $50.
